3rd Annual General Meeting and Conference to be held in Halifax NS

Halifax, Nova Scotia will once again be the host city for the 3rd Annual General Meeting and Conference for the Atlantic Halfway House Association which will be held from May 26th – 28th, 2009. This year’s theme is “Strengthening Partnerships” and will include presentations from Correctional Services of Canada and the HR Council for the voluntary and Non-Profit Sector. 2nd Annual General Meeting held in Halifax NS

Halifax, Nova Scotia was the host city for the 2nd Annual General Meeting for the Atlantic Halfway House Association which was held on May 30th, 2008. During this meeting a new executive was nominated and appointed as well as new board members and wishes to thank departing members for their hard work throughout the year. AHHA is pleased to announce the new executive and board members to the public.

Atlantic Halfway House Association introduces official website

As a dedicated human-service organization, the Atlantic Halfway House Association is pleased to announce the v1 launch of its official website located at www.atlantichalfwayhouses.com.
In addition to establish a more visible community presence, a primary goal of this project was to develop a series of comprehensive online tools to facilitate the commun, co-operation and resource sharing among AHHA members from throughout Atlantic Canada.
